Terms Of Service

Payments

  • 50% nonrefundable deposit required before commission begins

  • Last 50% plus shipping cost required before commission ships

  • No partial installments

  • Payments to be made via PayPal invoice or Stripe invoice

  • If last installment is not paid within 30 days of notification of product finalization, product may be changed and sold 

Shipping

  • Until further notice, ATD will not ship products internationally due to unreliable shipping outside the US

  • Shipping costs cannot be determined until product is complete

  • Shipping costs to be paid with last installment

  • Product will ship upon payment of last installment and shipping fees

  • Insurance can be applied upon request and additional payment

  • All packages include tracking information

  • Shipping generally ranges from $50-$500 depending on location and shipping option

  • Maker does not assume responsibility for any damages/losses after confirmation of shipment

  • Once product ships, no refund will be issued

Quotes & Warranty

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days

  • Reference sheets are required for both quotes and commissions. Ref sheet must be high resolution so all markings and details are clear. Ref sheet must include a front and back view of your character. Side views are appreciated, but not required. Hand-drawn, AI generated, shaded, or poor quality reference sheets will not be accepted

  • Prices vary depending on complexity of character

  • Warranty covers charges for repairs due to defects of materials/construction within 30 days of delivery excluding shipping costs to/from ATD

  • Commissioned products that have been altered by anyone other than ATD are not covered by warranty

Materials

  • No major design changes are allowed after commission initiates

  • All surplus materials belong to the maker after completion

Service

  • ATD does not work with anyone under the age of 18

  • Legal name and ID is required

  • Duct tape dummy (DTD) required for halfsuits and fullsuits

  • Height, weight, head circumference measurement, waist measurement, arm measurements, and/or shoe size may be requested

  • Maker is not obligated to meet any deadlines

  • An estimated start and completion date will be given upon commission acceptance, although these dates are not guaranteed to be met

  • ATD works at a consistent, but relaxed pace to prioritize quality and mental health

  • Any commission may be subject to a delay. Client will be notified of any and all delays as they occur

  • Client will receive very frequent WIPs as well as questions regarding their character's design/production throughout the project

  • All major actions regarding commission will be confirmed with the client first

  • Clients will be given 24 hours to respond to a question about their commission before work continues. Fees may apply for changes after that window

  • All accepted commissions including their status will appear on my public Trello queue

Refunds/Cancelations

  • If ATD must cancel a commission due to illness, natural disaster, etc, client may receive a partial refund and any fully completed commission parts

  • ATD holds the right to cancel any commission if the client harasses, neglects, threatens, breaks TOS, or is otherwise unreasonable to work with

  • ATD holds the right to keep and sell completed parts of a canceled commission. Character's design will be changed before being sold

  • If contact cannot be established within 30 days of last communication via social media or email, the commission will be canceled and no refund will be issued

  • No refund of any kind is given after commission is completed

  • Returns are not accepted

Auctions

  • Must be 18 or older to bid

  • Bidders must have their character's reference sheet approved by ATD prior to placing a bid for custom slot auctions

  • Payments to be made via PayPal invoice or Stripe invoice

  • 50% nonrefundable deposit must be made within 24 hours after notification of winning any ATD auction

  • Buyer has 30 days to fulfill remaining 50% plus shipping costs for premade auctions

  • Backing out of an ATD auction will result in being blackisted, blocked, and a potential buyer beware

*ATD auctions are subject to all other terms unless otherwise stated in this section

Artistic Liberty Commissions

  • Client has full character rights upon completion of commission including any art made during the design process

  • ATD will confirm designs with client unless requested otherwise

  • If cancelation of commission occurs before materials are purchased, deposit will be refunded except for a $200 work time fee. After materials are purchased, standard deposit rules apply
