Terms Of Service

Payments

  • 50% nonrefundable deposit required before commission begins

  • Last 50% plus shipping fees required before commission ships

  • No partial installments

  • Payments to be made via PayPal invoice, protected by PayPal Purchase Protection

  • If last installment is not paid within 30 days of notification of product finalization, product may be sold

Shipping

  • Until further notice, ATD will not be accepting international commissions due to unreliable shipping outside the US

  • Shipping costs cannot be determined until commission is complete

  • Shipping costs to be paid with last installment

  • Product will ship upon payment of last installment and shipping fees

  • Insurance can be applied upon request and additional payment

  • All packages include tracking information

  • Shipping generally ranges from $30-$200

  • Maker does not assume responsibility for any damages/losses after confirmation of shipment

  • Once commission ships, no refund will be issued

Quotes & Warranty

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days

  • Reference sheets are required for both quotes and commissions. Ref sheet must include a front and back view of your character. Side views are appreciated, but not required. Hand-drawn, shaded, or poor quality reference sheets will not be accepted

  • Prices vary depending on complexity of character

  • No charge for repairs due to defects of materials and/or construction within 30 days of delivery, excluding shipping

  • Normal wear and tear of product is not covered by warranty

Materials

  • No design changes are allowed after commission initiates

  • All surplus materials belong to the maker after completion

Service

  • Client must be 18 or older to commission

  • Legal name and ID is required

  • Duct tape dummy (DTD) required for halfsuits and fullsuits

  • Height, weight, head circumference measurement, waist measurement, arm measurements, and/or shoe size may be requested

  • An estimated start and completion date will be given upon commission acceptance

  • Maker is not obligated to meet any deadlines

  • Client will receive WIPs throughout the project

  • If maker must cancel commission, client may receive a partial refund

  • Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis

  • Returns are not accepted

  • If contact cannot be established in a timely manner, the commission will be terminated and no refund will be issued

  • All major actions regarding commission will be confirmed with the client first

  • Maker holds the right to deny service for any non-discriminatory reason

Artistic Liberty Commissions

  • Client has full character rights upon completion of commission including any art made during the design process

  • Maker will confirm designs with client unless requested otherwise

  • If termination of commission occurs before materials are purchased, deposit will be refunded except for a $200 work time fee. After materials are purchased, standard deposit rules apply
